The film contains three Jan Werich’s fairy tales, each directed by one artist. The first story sets out to the Sumava mountains in Southern Bohemia to find out whether Ogres ever lived there. The middle tale The Hat and the Little Jay Feather concerns a king who sends his three sons to bring back a hat he left at a tavern when he was young. The third and longest fairy tale Reason and Luck is about the two virtues of the title try to prove their importance by changing the life of a pig herder named Louis.


Adapted from a Liao Zhai story by the same title, ‘Mural’ tells of three men who chance upon an enchanted world through a mural, and believe it to be paradise until the darker and uglier side of that world begins to emerge.
This is an enchanted world that seems to promise satisfaction for every man’s desire on the surface, but brewing beneath it is the Queen’s vindictiveness and deep hatred for men.


The story of Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi movie is about two cousins in different stages of their love journey. One is trying to end her marriage and the other trying to get married. Together they will discover and rediscover the most important lessons on staying married and getting married. Belay (Toni Gonzaga) is an excited bride and Precy (Eugene Domingo) is an exhausted wife.
Precy has been married for a long time and has had enough of the married life because of problems and misunderstandings with her husband (Wendell Ramos).
On the other hand, Belay is a meek and conservative town girl who became a Japayuki. Now she is very excited about marrying the man of her life (Zanjoe Marudo).
Can Precy convince Belay that marriage is not worth it? Or can Belay show Precy that there is still chance for real love and happiness?


Nobuyoshi Ooki (Yutaka Takenouchi) and Saki (Asami Mizukawa) are a newlywed couple, but have lived together for a lengthy time prior to their marriage. They move into their new home, but any sense of excitement between the couple seems to have evaporated. While unpacking, Nobuyoshi and Saki notice that their rice cooker is missing.
Not long afterwards, they go to a nearby market to buy some household items. Saki passes an odd looking man (Akira Emoto) who is wearing a soaked trench coat. She notices that the guy is trying to hide something and it looks like their missing rice cooker. Saki chases after the guy, but the guy disappears somewhere on the roof of the building. There’s an old bathtub on the roof.
Saki goes back down the stairs and passes a fortuneteller booth. The fortuneteller (Kirin Kiki) asks Saki if she is looking for something and then hands her a poster advertising a trip to hell. Nobuyoshi and Saki become interested in the trip and the following day visit the fortuneteller shop. The couple signs up for the tour trip to hell for their honeymoon!
The newlywed couple prepare for a 1 night/2 day trip and go to the roof. There, Tajima (Hairi Katagiri) tells them the bathtub is the entrance to hell. The couple thinks its a joke, but Nobuyoshi puts his hand into the dirty water and soon he is drawn into the bathtub and disappears. Saki follows her husband.
The couple lands in hell and wander along a deserted road. An unidentified red man (Denden) attacks the couple, but they are saved by a pretty blue skinned girl named Yoshiko (Ai Hashimoto). They arrive at the hotel Iijimaya and there Iijima guides them, but the couple can’t understand what Iijima is talking about.
What is going to happen to their honeymoon and will the couple ever be able to get the passion back in their lives?


In the fictional Tokyo suburb of Mahoro, Keisuke Tada (Eita) works as a “benriya” – a general problem solver for hire.
One day in January, former classmate Haruhiko Gyoten (Ryuhei Matsuda) appears unannounced. Back in their schooldays Haruhiko was a quiet person who rarely talked. Now, Haruhiko is talkative. Both men are over 30 years old and divorced. Without giving an explanation, Haruhiko suddenly asks to spend the night at Keisuke’s home. Keisuke turns down Haruhiko, but Haruhiko is persistant and finally Keisuke allows him to sleep over for one night. What Keisuke is unaware of is that Haruhiko plans to stay for more than one night. Eventually, Keisuke accepts Haruhiko as his assistant and they become involved in various cases involving an assortment of people from different walks of life.


The story follows Tenzing who, after the death of his mother, leaves the city to live with his father in the Tibetan prairie. Life is difficult at first, till the day the young boy witnesses a fight between some Tibetan guard dogs and a golden-haired stranger to the pack.
Madhouse founder Maruyama travelled Tibet for this project in an effort to accurately portray the culture.
